Ever since I was a little girl, I was fascinated by photos. My parents have a huge antique dry sink that they use to store old photos in. I would dig out pictures of family and spend the whole day looking through them. It has taken me all of these years to discover what I loved about these photos. They were not only timeless, but they told a story about who the people were. Most of the images were taken outdoors near the family home, usually surrounded by people they loved, and belongings they cherished most. We've all heard that pictures tell a thousand words, and I know it's cliche, but it's also true. Candid photography, using natural lighting, tells a story about people. It captures the essence of the feelings and emotions of the subjects in a way that no other photography can.

Now that I have my own children, it has become so important that I capture every little special moment. Not only for their loved ones to enjoy now, but also for my children to look back on years from now and feel a little piece of themselves and their childhood peering back at them. I want to help you capture those moments for you and your family, as it has become so important for me to do so with my own.
